Terms & Conditions for Donations

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all donations made to Swami Vivekanand Youth Foundation (SVYF) through the PayPal payment gateway on our website. By proceeding with a donation, you agree to these Terms.

1. Organization Details

Swami Vivekananda Youth Foundation (SVYF) is a registered non-profit organization under the Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950.

2. Nature of Donations

  • All donations made through PayPal are voluntary contributions toward SVYF’s charitable projects in youth development, sports promotion, healthcare, leadership training, and community service.
  • Donations are not payments for goods or services.

3. Currency & Payment Processing

  • Donations are processed in [INR/USD/Other currency] depending on donor preference and PayPal settings.
  • PayPal’s terms, conditions, and privacy policy apply to all transactions.
  • SVYF is not liable for any delays or failures in payment processing caused by PayPal or the donor’s bank/card provider.

4. Use of Funds

Donations will be utilized for SVYF’s approved programs and activities, including but not limited to:

  • Sports training and infrastructure
  • Health & wellness initiatives
  • Educational support and rural development
  • Leadership & community empowerment programs

5. Receipt & Acknowledgment

  • A donation acknowledgment email will be sent to the donor’s registered email within [10] business days.
  • Donors requiring a physical receipt should email info@svyfoundation.org with transaction details.
  • 80G tax exemption receipts will be issued once SVYF obtains 80G certification (as mentioned on our website).

6. Refund Policy

  • Donations are generally non-refundable.
  • Refunds will only be considered in case of proven technical error (e.g., duplicate payment) and must be requested within 7 working days of the transaction.
  • To request a refund, email info@svyfoundation.org with proof of payment.

7. Donor Information & Privacy

  • Personal information collected during the donation process will be kept confidential and used solely for processing payments, issuing receipts, and legal compliance.
  • SVYF does not sell, rent, or trade donor information to third parties.

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • SVYF will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from use, delay, or failure of the PayPal service.
  • SVYF reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Wardha, Maharashtra.
